Giloy Plantation & Health Awareness

Date: November 2020

Human Life Foundation organized the Giloy Plantation & Health Awareness Program to promote the cultivation of medicinal plants and encourage the adoption of traditional Ayurvedic practices for better health and immunity. The initiative aimed to create awareness about the importance of natural healthcare and inspire communities to grow medicinal plants for everyday wellness.

As part of the program, Human Life Foundation educated community members about the health benefits of Giloy (Tinospora cordifolia), a well-known Ayurvedic medicinal plant valued for supporting immunity and overall well-being. Foundation members were encouraged to cultivate Giloy at their homes and make use of its traditional medicinal properties.

To promote its widespread use, Giloy plants and cuttings were made available free of cost to members, enabling them to grow the plant and adopt natural health practices within their families and communities.

The initiative increased awareness about traditional Ayurvedic healthcare and encouraged the cultivation of medicinal plants as a sustainable approach to maintaining health and immunity. It promoted preventive healthcare, environmental conservation, and community participation while reinforcing Human Life Foundation’s commitment to holistic well-being and healthy living.

Human Life Foundation believes that a healthy society begins with awareness and preventive care. Through initiatives like the Giloy Plantation & Health Awareness Program, we continue to promote natural wellness, environmental sustainability, and healthier communities for a brighter future.
