Awareness and Guidance Program for Nomadic Communities

Date: 5 May 2018

Human Life Foundation organized an Awareness and Guidance Program for nomadic communities to promote education and improve access to essential government welfare schemes. The initiative aimed to empower marginalized families by helping them obtain important identity and welfare documents required for education, healthcare, employment, and social security benefits.

The program was conducted at Human Life Foundation’s Slum School No. 2, located in the Banjara Settlement, Sector 28, Pratap Nagar. During the awareness session, Foundation volunteers guided community members on the procedures for obtaining essential government documents, including Aadhaar Cards, Ration Cards, Voter ID Cards, Labour Cards, Bhamashah Cards, and other documents required to access government welfare schemes and educational opportunities.

Participants also received information about the importance of documentation in securing public services, children’s education, and various social welfare benefits available through government initiatives.

The Awareness and Guidance Program empowered marginalized nomadic families by improving their awareness of government welfare schemes and the importance of legal identity documents. The initiative helped strengthen access to education, healthcare, food security, and social welfare benefits while reinforcing Human Life Foundation’s commitment to empowering underserved communities through education, awareness, and inclusive development.

Human Life Foundation believes that awareness is the first step towards empowerment. By connecting vulnerable communities with education and government welfare services, we continue to create opportunities for dignity, self-reliance, and a better future for every family.
