Winter Relief Program

Date: 2 December 2018

Human Life Foundation, in collaboration with FitYog Sanstha, organized a Winter Relief Program to provide essential winter support to economically disadvantaged children, mothers, and vulnerable women. The initiative aimed to protect families from the harsh winter season by distributing warm clothing, blankets, and educational materials while promoting compassion, dignity, and community participation in humanitarian service.

The program was organized at the Human Life Foundation Jagatpura Slum Education Centre with the generous support of FitYog Sanstha. During the event, warm clothes and educational materials were distributed to children studying at the education centre, ensuring they remained comfortable while continuing their education throughout the winter season.

To extend support to vulnerable families, the Foundation also distributed 100 blankets to mothers and other needy women from the surrounding community, helping them protect themselves against the severe winter cold. Volunteers and supporters actively participated in the distribution, creating an atmosphere of care, compassion, and solidarity.

The Winter Relief Program significantly improved the well-being of economically disadvantaged families by providing warmth, comfort, and essential winter support. The initiative reduced the hardships faced during the cold season, encouraged continued school attendance among children, and strengthened community participation in humanitarian service. It also reinforced Human Life Foundation’s commitment to serving vulnerable communities with dignity, compassion, and sustainable social support.

Human Life Foundation believes that every act of kindness brings warmth beyond the winter season. Through collaborative humanitarian initiatives like the Winter Relief Program, we continue to provide hope, dignity, and essential support to vulnerable families while building a more compassionate and caring society.
