Voluntary Teaching Program

Date: 1 August 2018

Human Life Foundation launched the Voluntary Teaching Program to strengthen the education of underprivileged children through the dedicated support of volunteer educators. The initiative aimed to improve academic learning, encourage regular school attendance, and create a positive learning environment where every child could develop knowledge, confidence, and essential life skills.

As part of the program, dedicated volunteers regularly conducted teaching sessions at the Human Life Foundation Slum Education Centre. These sessions focused on strengthening children’s understanding of core subjects, improving literacy and numeracy skills, and encouraging active participation in classroom activities.

Beyond academics, volunteers also mentored and motivated the children, helping them develop discipline, confidence, and a love for learning. Their consistent efforts played a vital role in creating an engaging and supportive educational environment.

The Voluntary Teaching Program enhanced children’s academic performance, increased their interest in learning, and encouraged regular participation in educational activities. The initiative demonstrated the transformative role of volunteerism in education and reinforced Human Life Foundation’s commitment to providing quality learning opportunities for children from marginalized communities.

Human Life Foundation believes that dedicated volunteers have the power to transform lives through education. By sharing their time, knowledge, and compassion, they help build brighter futures and empower children to achieve their dreams.
